Focus-4-1

Focus-4-1 is driven by Black, Asian and ethnic minority adult mental health services users and welcome members from all backgrounds and nationalities. They meet every week and provide a wide range of services that ensure mental health service users have access to information and signposting whilst gaining an understanding of healthy diets, nutrition and wellbeing.

Through education Focus-4-1 challenge stereotypes and discrimination through promoting good understanding of mental health illness and mental health within the wider community. Focus-4-1 is a user led group that promotes recovery and independence in daily living. They support one another to enable all members to take control of their lives and strive to network throughout the community, voluntary and health sectors to campaign for better mental health services.
