As your local Healthwatch, we encourage you to help shape and improve the services you use. You can have a say on how services are designed and delivered.

The NHS Long Term Plan included suggested legislative changes to help implement the Plan faster and more effectively. You can read more information about the proposals on the NHS Long Term Plan website and then complete an online survey to share your views. The deadline for responses is 25th April 2019.

Additionally NHS England and NHS Improvement are running two national events aimed at people who work in and use NHS services. Participants will hear directly from NHS leaders about the proposals and how they aim to improve the planning and delivery of care. There will also be group discussions so that people can explore the plans in more detail.

The events will be from 10am-2pm in central London on 3 April 2019, and central Leeds on 16 April 2019. To ensure a good representation across the health and care sector, places are limited.

He told us that patients deserve a better hospital environment, and that while they do everything they can to ensure patients get safe and effective care, this relies on workarounds which aren't sustainable.

Patient Survey

GP Patient Survey 2023
