Women-only Contraception Clinic for Merton Residents

Part of our role at Healthwach Merton is to provide you with information and advice about local health and social care services.

Have you heard of NHS Sexual Health South West London? They have recently moved into a purpose-built clinic in Clapham Junction offering sexual health screenings but also a full service in contraception including pills, depot, implants and coils.

From feedback gathered, it was highlighted that that some women prefer to attend a women-only clinic to obtain contraception. They have therefore set up a women-only clinic on Wednesday mornings from 8.30am to 11am. At this clinic, women will be seen by a female clinician who will be able to help them make a decision about what contraceptive method is best for them.  

There will also be a female Health Adviser in clinic to offer advice and support around any sexual health issue. This clinic is by appointment only.  Appointments are made by calling 0333 300 2100 and asking for the Wednesday morning

The clinic is located at 160 Falcon Road, London, SW11 2LN.
