The London Ambulance Service have asked us to gather feedback to help inform their next five year strategy (2023 - 2028). As well as the London’s Emergency Ambulance service, they also provide some 999 or NHS 111 support, when patients are transferred to a doctor, nurse, mental health worker or other clinician.

The patient journey can begin with these services, but may not end there, and some people choose not to use these, even if they are the “right” way to get care.  We want to know why people make decisions to access care, how the different parts of the health and care system (including ambulances, 999, NHS 111, mental health providers, GP, hospitals and clinics, pharmacies and the voluntary sector) can ensure patients get the right care, in the right place at the right time.

Whilst ambulances also transport some people who can’t otherwise get to regular hospital appointments, we’re not asking about those in this survey, this is about the urgent or emergency care systems.

SURVEY CLOSED. Thankyou to all of you who completed a survey
