Consultation about new Eye Hospital to replace Moorfields
Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is proposing to develop a new centre for eye care, research and training. Subject to consultation, the new centre would take around six years to complete and would replace the current services at the Moorfields Eye Hospital in City Road. The development is known as "Oriel" and you can find further information at Oriel | Moorfields Eye Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
This year, the commissioners of the services at Moorfields Eye Hospital are consulting patients, public, staff and stakeholders. There will be a consultation process starting in late spring, but views and feedback are being gathered from now onwards to inform proposals. Commissioners are hosting a series of discussion groups in and around London, where they want to know:
How would this proposal affect you?
How do you think services should improve?
What’s your view of the potential challenges?
Details of the sessions and how to book onto them can be found in the flier uploaded below. Their current Frequently Asked Questions document is also uploaded below.
Views can also be sent in to firstname.lastname@example.org or you can call 020 7521 4684 for queries or further information.
