Carers needed to help develop new bereavement service

The South West London & St George Mental Health Trust is keen to expand the involvement of all service users and carers in developing their services. They are offering 4 carers the opportunity to attend a one-off meeting to help develop information provided to families after the death of their relative.

This would be on the afternoon of 6 March for 2 hours at Springfield Hospital in London SW17. Participants will be paid £10 per hour but travel expenses are not reimbursed. 

The 4 carers chosen will be people who:

  • Have an interest in the development of services
  • Have had experience of reviewing documentation
  • Can take part in professional meetings and share their experiences and ideas in a constructive manner to help shape future services.

Applications are welcomed from current SWLStG carers or those who have used the Trust services within the last 5 years. If you are interested in taking part in this meeting, write to SWLStG telling them why you are interested in this role, and share any relevant interests, skills and experiences you will be contributing. 

Closing date for expressions of interest: 21st February. Applicants will be informed by 26th February.
